“My intention with making this series was to get in closer contact with the element water. Water is one of the five great elements. In Hinduism, water shares it’s name with deva: Heavenly, divine anything of excellence, a personification of water. The goddess deva is associated with the Moon who represents intuition and imagination. Through this body of work, I want to highlight the spiritual healing power of the 5th natural element and connect the viewer with Mother Nature.
